Well my bro is over for the weekend and took my little nephew to help out with the canoe little buger =).Well i place the end caps on the stems when the epoxy drys ill be able to shape the outer stems to the hull =) And no he wasnt drinking LOL =)
Shaved the end caps to the hull..the close up shows how the cap tappers into the hull. I also pulled out all the nail and did some sanding ..The sanding is not the funniest part ...my achilles heel LOL
Well got the first coat of epoxy down ...this is so when i glass the hull the epoxy from the glass doesnt seep into the wood and starve the cloth(fiberglass).Basically its a sealer .It went on pretty easy i hope i put enuff =) .You can really see the color now the epoxy brings it out.The yellow on the hull is just the color of the light up top its more like the color in the front by the stem...tears i tell ya that what this project is bringin to the eyes =) If your tired like me at looking at the canoe upside down then look below at the flipped picture thats the way its gonna look right side up and the black line is to show what still needs to  be cut off for the sheerline...it looks cool
