Well its the second day of striping i layed another 5 strips on each side im getting the hang of it ... seems like i might not have cut enuff strips.. errrr ..back to the table saw and router .I used tape to press the strips into its coves. Its starting to shape up. I can only imagine what its going to be like going over the base of the canoe (curve) =)

Today was a big day i did 5 strips then went and cut more dark cedar for the water line and came back and did 5 more strips.Its starting to go around the hull you can see it from the front view.

Heres a close up of what the strips look like =) .There are two different kinds of wood pine is the light colored wood and the dark is cedar.
